Chris Bosh Shares Throwback Video Of LeBron James, Chris Paul, And Dwight Howard Eating Burgers At A Gas Station Before Their Flight For The 2008 Olympics: "Recorded On My Flip Phone. A Classic."

LeBron James Was Not Lying On April Fools’ Day

We are about to experience something that rarely ever happens: an NBA postseason without LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers.

His Lakers team has been a complete mess all season long and were consistently having issues on the floor despite James playing alongside Anthony Davis, Carmelo Anthony, Russell Westbrook, and more.

And now the team is officially out of playoff contention after slipping to 11th place in the West with no hope of rebounding.

This means that a simple joke James made on April Fools’ Day is coming back to embarrass him.

O
n the first, James tweeted out that he was “out for the season officially.”

He followed that up with a couple of emojis and “See y’all in the fall.”

It was an obvious April Fools’ gag that most fans found funny but now, only a few days later, it’s become reality.

James Wasn’t Fooling This Year

No matter how it ended for his team, no one can deny that James had a great season this year.

Despite being 37 years old, James put up an average of 30.3 points, 8.2 rebounds, and 6.2 rebounds.

He was the unquestioned team leader for the Lakers and fought hard to claim the NBA scoring title too.

In other words, James was still one of the best superstars alive this year.

It’s a shame that the rest of the team couldn’t work as he did.

You can bet that the team will look radically different after the summer.

Both head coach Frank Vogel and Westbrook are probably going to be leaving LA in the months ahead.

Since his April Fools’ Day tweet, James played only one game but now he can rest and get ready for next season.
