LeBron James Declares His NBA Ownership Goals

LeBron James of the Los Angeles Lakers is always thinking about what comes next.

Whether he’s planning his next comeback season with LA or playing with his son in a few years or imagining what life will be like after basketball, James always has a future mindset.

And one of the goals on his vision board is owning an NBA team.

In a recently released clip from his TV show “The Shop”, James made no secret of his desire to own a team.

He put it bluntly, saying that he doesn’t only want to own a basketball squad but he wants it to be located in Las Vegas, Nevada.

There have been recent rumors of the league expanding and starting a team in Vegas but nothing is set in stone or definitive.

There is a chance that the league will eventually focus on another city instead.

However, if anyone can make it happen, it’s James.

Vegas, Baby

The latest NBA rumors say that commissioner Adam Silver is eying a possible expansion in the next few years, with the cities of Seattle and Vegas as possible destinations to set up new teams.

James is obviously in favor of that.

However, Las Vegas has always been a city that scares away many professional sports franchises.

There are many reasons for that but one of the big things that keep teams away is the city’s atmosphere and temptations.

Can you imagine being an NBA star staying in Vegas for a few days?

There is a good chance that some of the distractions in Vegas would leave players hungover and exhausted.

But James doesn’t think so and he believes he can be the one to lead this potential team.
