Lakers Guard Makes An Easy Decision For The Upcoming Season

Fans of the Los Angeles Lakers were really excited when the team signed Kendrick Nunn.

During his two seasons with the Miami Heat, Nunn showed that he has a lot of potential and could be a force to be reckoned with.

Sadly, he hasn’t been able to show that potential off for the Lakers yet.

That’s because a knee injury kept him sidelined for his entire first year with LA.

But if things go according to plan, Nunn will be able to strut his stuff for the purple and gold next season.

That’s because Nunn just elected to opt in for his contract with LA for next season.

This isn’t surprising news – everyone knew he would make this choice – but it reminds people that Nunn is waiting in the wings and could add a lot to the Lakers’ roster.

The Flying Nunn

There was hope that Nunn would play in the postseason for the Lakers this past season.

Sadly, he was never able to get to the physical point where he could play.

But that didn’t really matter in the end since the Lakers ended up dropping the ball and didn’t even make the playoffs.

Devoted Lakers followers are hoping Nunn is ready to go when the new season kicks off and they’re also hoping he looks like his former self.

So far in his career, Nunn averages 15 points, 2.9 rebounds, and 3 assists a game.

Nunn could be a solid part of the rotation and could help improve the team’s offense, which was lacking especially as the season wore on.

The Lakers don’t have a lot of reliable shooters and it feels like some of their most-used stars are inconsistent at times.

Nunn is hoping to add some consistency and solid shooting when he once again takes to the floor.
