The Los Angeles Lakers were viewed as a championship contender last season, as they signed a lot of experienced veterans. However, that ended up backfiring for the team, as they clearly lacked athleticism and defense, mostly on the wing. They ended up missing the play-in tournament and by extension the playoffs.
It seems as though the team has realized their mistake. It was recently reported by Shams Charania that Troy Brown Jr. and Lonnie Walker have agreed to deals with the Lakers, and they could definitely be solid additions on the wing, as they are lengthy athletic defenders.
